la ofi-cine is a small and fine film atelier located in Berlin with the purpose to co-produce films and film projects between Latinamerica and Germany. la ofi, as we call it, has produced some shortfilms that fortunately won several awards and recognition at International Festivals such as Palm Springs, Sao Pablo, Kerala, Korea, etc. We eventually started producing and co-producing feature films. The lauching event of la ofi-cine was the Festival ®argenKINO, a binational film festival between Argentina and Germany kindly supported by Wim Wenders and Harun Farocki, Jeanine Meerapfel, Ciro Cappellari and Bettina Böhler in the Jury. Included in the Celebrations Berlin-Buenos Aires and supported -among others- by the berliner Senate, Ministery of Foreing Affairs (GER+AR), Goethe Institutes, as well as many private sponsors such as ARRI, CINEPLUS, SCHWARZFILM and KODAK.  I grew up in Buenos Aires, San José and Paris. After more than a decade working as a CD and Producer at different advertising firms (Y&R and Ddb/Needham Panama, AP Lintas or Saatchi & Saatchi Costa Rica) I moved to Germany (Munich and then Berlin) where I began from zero doing ocassional gigs at uva, scholz+friends berlin and the FUB, until I sort of thought I knew the German Branche and I was able to open my own production house.
